I bought the most ridicolous thing at the Apple Store the other day. It makes it so I can use my old iPod headphones (of which I have several pair) or my Bose headphones with the iPhone. I felt silly spending $10 on such an item and I swear the checkout girl giggled at me.

I just tried this in Germany and it worked! I’m in Mel’s old (read: empty) apartment with a few sheets of paper, a desk, my Mac, a wifi router and one bier in the ‘fridge. MacGyver would be proud :)
